Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated August 13, 2026

Robra IT ("Robra," "we," "us" or "our") is an enterprise technology consulting, staffing and professional-services business. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal information when you visit our website, contact us, request a resource, communicate with us, participate in messaging through 10-digit long codes (10DLC), seek or discuss a professional opportunity, become a client or service provider, or otherwise interact with Robra IT.

For privacy questions or requests, email contact@robrait.com.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that Robra IT controls in connection with:

  • our website and online forms;
  • business and client inquiries;
  • resource requests and related communications;
  • recruiting, talent-network, candidate and professional-opportunity activities;
  • SMS and other business communications; and
  • our business relationships with clients, prospects, contractors, vendors and other professional contacts.

This policy does not govern personal information that we process solely on behalf of a client under a services agreement. In those situations, the client controls the information and its privacy notice applies. See Section 13 below.

A separate agreement, candidate notice, employee notice, client notice or other specific notice may apply to certain relationships or data-processing activities. Where applicable, that more specific notice will control for the activity it covers.

2. Personal information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

Identifiers and contact information

This may include your name, email address, telephone number, company, job title, business address, account or contact identifiers, IP address and similar identifiers.

We use this information to communicate with you, respond to requests, manage business relationships, operate and secure our services, and maintain appropriate business records.

Professional and employment-related information

This may include your résumé, employment history, education, skills, certifications, professional interests, specialty or platform experience, availability, location and work preferences, compensation expectations, work authorization, references, and other information you provide when discussing a role or joining our talent network.

We use this information to evaluate your background, discuss potentially relevant opportunities, communicate with you during a recruiting or placement process and—only with your agreement—present your résumé or professional profile to a client for a specific opportunity.

Business, inquiry and service information

This may include the content of an inquiry, project or staffing requirements, resource requests, proposed or current engagement details, client and vendor contact information, contract-related information, and records concerning the services we provide or receive.

We use this information to respond to inquiries, scope and deliver services, manage engagements, maintain client and vendor relationships, administer contracts and operate our business.

Communications and preference information

This may include website-form submissions, emails, text messages, call or meeting notes, resource requests, communication preferences, SMS opt-in records, consent records, and opt-out or support requests.

We use this information to communicate with you, provide requested information, document permissions and preferences, comply with messaging requirements, and honor opt-out requests.

Internet, device and network activity

Our website hosting, form and security providers may automatically process technical information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, diagnostics, and security or operational logs.

We use this information to deliver the website, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, protect our systems, and maintain website reliability and security. We do not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral tracking or website analytics.

Onboarding and legally required information

If you advance to an employment, contractor or onboarding process, we may collect additional information reasonably necessary for that process, such as proof of identity, work-authorization information, tax and payroll information, payment information, background-screening information, or accommodation-related information. We collect and use this information only where appropriate and subject to applicable law. A separate notice or authorization may apply.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial-account information, medical information or other highly sensitive information through a general website form or ordinary email unless Robra IT specifically requests it through an appropriate process.

3. Sources of personal information

We may collect personal information:

  • directly from you through forms, email, telephone, SMS, meetings, résumé submissions, contracts and other interactions;
  • automatically through our website, hosting, security and communications systems;
  • from clients or prospective clients in connection with a role, project or professional reference;
  • from referrals, references, recruiters or other professional contacts;
  • from recruiting platforms, job boards and publicly available professional sources; and
  • from service providers that support our business operations.

4. How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries and provide requested resources or support;
  • discuss, propose, establish and administer client or vendor relationships;
  • recruit, evaluate, communicate with and support candidates and professionals;
  • present a candidate to a client for a specific opportunity after obtaining the candidate's agreement;
  • deliver consulting, staffing, project, managed and other professional services;
  • send SMS messages or other communications that you have requested or agreed to receive;
  • authenticate requests, document consent and honor communication preferences;
  • operate, maintain, troubleshoot and secure our website, systems and services;
  • detect, investigate and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents or unlawful activity;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, contractual and recordkeeping obligations;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
  • evaluate or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets or similar business transaction.

Submitting a general inquiry or talent-network form does not enroll you in unrelated marketing communications. We do not use personal information for materially different purposes without providing any notice or consent required by law.

5. How we disclose personal information

Service providers

Companies that provide services to Robra IT may process personal information on our behalf. These may include website hosting and infrastructure providers, website-form providers such as Formspree, email and SMS providers, cloud-storage providers, customer-relationship or applicant-tracking systems, information-security providers, and other business-operations vendors. These providers are authorized to process information only for permitted business purposes and subject to appropriate obligations.

Clients and prospective clients

When you agree to be considered for a specific professional opportunity, we may disclose your résumé, profile, contact details and relevant professional information to the applicable client or prospective client. We do not submit your résumé to a client for a specific opportunity without your agreement.

Professional advisers

We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, financial institutions and other professional advisers where reasonably necessary for their services to us.

Legal and safety recipients

We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, court order or governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, property or security of Robra IT, our clients, professionals or others.

Business-transaction recipients

We may disclose information in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets or similar transaction, subject to applicable confidentiality and privacy requirements.

6. Sales, targeted advertising and profiling

Robra IT does not sell personal information for money. We also do not currently:

  • sell personal information as that term is defined by applicable state privacy laws;
  • share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
  • process personal information for targeted advertising; or
  • use personal information for profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

During the preceding 12 months, we have not sold or shared personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required privacy choices before beginning the new activity.

7. SMS and 10DLC messaging

Consent and message purpose

Robra IT sends SMS messages only when the recipient has provided clear, affirmative consent. Messages may relate to a business inquiry, requested resource, talent-network submission, professional opportunity, interview, placement, assignment or another interaction you initiated with Robra IT.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing services or being considered for an opportunity.

Message frequency and charges

Robra IT will be identified as the sender. Message frequency is generally 1–4 messages per month or as needed, and frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and obtaining help

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a Robra IT text message. We may send one final message confirming your opt-out. No additional messages will be sent through that program unless you opt in again.

Reply HELP for assistance or email contact@robrait.com.

Mobile information and consent data

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Our communications service providers may process mobile information and consent records only as necessary to provide authorized messaging services, maintain security, document consent, and comply with legal or carrier requirements. Mobile opt-in information is not transferred to clients, affiliates, lead generators or other third parties for their own marketing or promotional use.

We retain appropriate records of SMS consent, opt-outs and suppression preferences for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance and honor your choices.

8. Cookies, tracking and privacy signals

The Robra IT website does not currently set browser cookies or use advertising pixels, cross-site behavioral tracking or website analytics. Our hosting provider may process IP addresses, device information and request data in operational logs to deliver and secure the website; this does not require storing a cookie in your browser.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no single generally accepted standard for interpreting that signal and because we do not currently engage in cross-site behavioral tracking, our website does not respond differently to Do Not Track signals. We do not knowingly permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites through our website for their own advertising purposes.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a browser-based opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will honor that signal for any processing to which the legal opt-out applies. Because we do not currently sell personal information or use it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, such a signal does not change our current website practices.

If we introduce cookies or similar browser-storage technologies, we will update this section before or when that use begins. We will provide a consent choice before setting any non-essential technologies where applicable law requires it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, use, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These safeguards may include access controls, vendor-management measures, secure transmission, logging, monitoring and other protections appropriate to the nature of the information.

No method of transmission, storage or security is completely reliable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should use care when sending sensitive information electronically and use any secure method that Robra IT provides for that purpose.

10. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services, manage relationships, consider professionals for opportunities, maintain business and consent records, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect security.

The retention period depends on factors such as:

  • the nature and sensitivity of the information;
  • the purpose for which it was collected;
  • whether an inquiry, candidacy, assignment, contract or business relationship remains active;
  • whether we reasonably expect to continue discussing relevant opportunities with a professional;
  • legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, contractual, limitation-period and recordkeeping requirements;
  • the need to document consent or preserve an opt-out or suppression request; and
  • the need to investigate security incidents or protect legal rights.

Technical and security logs are generally retained for a limited operational period unless they are needed longer for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, legal compliance or an investigation. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete it, deidentify it or retain it in a form that is not reasonably capable of being associated with an individual.

11. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on your state of residence and the circumstances, applicable law may give you the right to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information;
  • access personal information we maintain about you;
  • obtain a copy of certain personal information in a portable format;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete certain personal information;
  • obtain information about the categories, or in some states the specific identities, of third parties to which we disclosed personal information;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising or certain profiling;
  • limit or withdraw consent to certain processing of sensitive personal information;
  • withdraw consent to communications;
  • appeal our decision concerning a privacy request; and
  • exercise your rights without unlawful discrimination or retaliation.

These rights are subject to applicable definitions, exceptions and eligibility requirements. For example, we may need to retain information to complete a requested transaction, comply with law, document consent or an opt-out, maintain security, or establish or defend legal claims.

Additional California disclosure

For California residents, the categories described in Section 2 are the categories of personal information that we may have collected during the preceding 12 months. Sections 3, 4 and 5 describe the sources, business purposes and categories of recipients associated with that information, and Section 10 describes our retention criteria. To the extent California law applies, we will process eligible California privacy requests as described below.

How to submit a request

Email contact@robrait.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" or use our contact form and begin your message with "Privacy Request." Describe the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to understand the request and reasonably verify your identity and relationship with Robra IT. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless we specifically request them through an appropriate method.

We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If we cannot fulfill all or part of a request, we will explain the reason to the extent required or permitted by law.

Authorized agents

Where permitted by law, you may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We may require proof of the agent's authority and may need to verify your identity directly unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Appeals

If we deny a request and applicable law provides a right to appeal, email contact@robrait.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal" or use our contact form. Identify the request you are appealing. We will review the appeal and provide any additional information required by applicable law, including information about contacting the appropriate regulator when required.

Communication choices

You may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP. You may also ask us to stop or limit other non-essential communications by emailing contact@robrait.com. We may continue to send communications necessary to respond to your request, administer an active relationship, protect security or comply with law.

12. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for business users and adult professionals and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, email contact@robrait.com, and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Information processed for clients

In some consulting, managed-services, staffing or project-delivery engagements, Robra IT may process personal information solely on behalf of a client and under the client's instructions. In that context, the client is responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing, and the client's privacy notice governs the information.

If your request concerns information controlled by a Robra IT client, please direct the request to that client. Where appropriate and required by contract or law, we will assist the client in responding.

14. United States processing

Our website, systems, service providers and business operations may process and store personal information in the United States. If you access our website or interact with us from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, our services or our information practices. When we make changes, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective or last-updated date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or choice required by law.
